REMEDIAL DRIVER PROGRAMS
The New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission has two Remedial Driver Programs. For experienced drivers, who are facing suspension of driving privileges; the Driver Improvement Program is available. For drivers that have had their license for less than two years and have multiple moving violations; the Probationary Driver Improvement Program is available.
The Remedial Driver Programs teach strategies to improve accident prevention and driving skills; reduce cost, fatalities and injuries due to collisions. These programs are designed to help you rethink your behavior and actions behind the wheel.
Driver Improvement Program:
The Driver Improvement Program is a court mandated three hour class. This class is sometimes offered in lieu of a 30 day suspension of driving privileges. Upon successful completion of this course, up to three points will be removed from your driving record. The fee for the Driver Improvement Program is $75. This is on top of the administrative fee that is due to the Motor Vehicle Commission. If you have already paid your $75 administrative fee to the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission, please click on the link below to proceed to registration.
Probationary Driver Improvement Program:
The Probationary Driver Improvement Program is a court mandated four hour class for drivers who have only had their license for two years or less. This class is offered to probationary drivers who have been convicted of at least two moving violations totaling at least 4 points. Upon successful completion of this course, up to three points will be removed from your driving record.
The fee for the Probationary Driver Improvement Program is $75. This is on top of the administrative fee that is due to the Motor Vehicle Commission. If you have already paid your $75 administrative fee to the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission, please click on the link below to proceed to registration.
Virtual Classes:
We have added virtual classes to our programs. Our Classes will be held on ZOOM. Students will need to have downloaded the Zoom Client on the device you plan on attending the meeting with. The device MUST have a camera. When attending a virtual class you will need to have a copy of your ID ready to upload on the device you will be using to access the meeting. You MUST provide one of the following types of ID (NO EXCEPTIONS):

If you have received a notice that you are required to attend one of these courses, you must do so in the allotted time or your driving privileges will be suspended.
The fees for these courses are not refundable. However, if necessary you can cancel and reschedule with at least 24 hours notice. Failure to cancel with less than 24 hours notice or failure to appear to the class will result in a loss of the course fee and there will be a re-scheduling fee of $25 to schedule another class.
All classes will begin promptly at their scheduled time. Once the class has started, anyone arriving late will not be admitted into the class and will need to re-schedule and be subjected to the re-scheduling fee.
