Class "A" Tractor Trailer
Training
Standard Course
3 weeks, 120 hours
Weekdays: Students in the weekday course
attend classes for 3 weeks (15 days): Monday through Friday
from 8:00am until 4:30pm. 30 minute lunch break daily.
Total course 120 hours.
Weekends: Students in the weekend course
attend classes for 7 1/2 weekends (15 days): Saturday
and Sunday from 8:00am until 4:30pm. 30 minute lunch break
daily. Total course 120 hours
Nights: Students attending the evening
course attend classes for 5 weeks (24 evenings): Monday
through Friday from 6:00pm until 11:00pm. Total course
120 hours.
Course Training and Instructions
Classroom Training: Students will prepare
for all written C.D.L. Exams, including General Knowledge,
Air Brakes, Combination Vehicles, Double and Triples,
Hazmat rules, Tankers, etc..
Yard and Field Training: Students will
learn to master the skills of properly backing up a tractor
trailer and maneuvering through tight areas and obstacles.
Skills Involve: Straight Line Backing
up (at least 100 feet), 45 and 90 degree Alley Docking,
Pre trip Inspection, In-Cab Inspection, In route Inspection
and Post Trip Inspection.
Road Training: Students will train in
light to heavy density traffic. Skills Involve: Observing
Traffic Regulations, Shifting, Turning, using Clutch and
fuel and Defensive driving.

Advanced Course
4 weeks, 160 hours
Weekdays: Students in
the weekday course attend classes for 4 weeks (20 days):
Monday through Friday from 8:00am until 4:30pm. 30 minute
lunch break daily. Total Course 160 hours.
Weekends: Students in the weekend course
attend classes for 10 weekends (20 days) Saturday and
Sunday from 8:00am until 4:30pm.30 minute lunch break
daily. Total Course 160 hours
Nights: Students attending the evening
course attend classes for 6 weeks and two evenings: Monday
through Friday from 6:00pm until 11:00pm - Total 160 hours.

Course

Weekdays: Students in the weekday course
attend classes for 4 weeks and two days (22 days) Monday
through Friday from 8:00am until 4:30pm. 30 minute lunch
break daily. Total Course 160 hours.
Course Training and Instructions
Classroom Training: Students will prepare
for all written C.D.L. Exams, including General Knowledge,
Air Brakes, Combination Vehicles, Double and Triples,
Hazmat rules, Tankers, etc..
Yard and Field Training: Students will

attend classes for 2 weeks (10 days): Monday through Friday
from 8:00am until 4:30pm. 30 minute lunch break daily.
Total course 80 hours.
Weekends: Students in the weekend course
attend classes for 5 weekends (10 days): Saturday and
Sunday from from 8:00am until 4:30pm. 30 minute lunch
break daily. Total course 80 hours
